Title
Registered Nurse - Med-Surg/Telemetry

Schedule
Shift: 12-hour nights, 18:45-07:15 - 3 shifts/week
Weekends: Every other weekend required

Assignment Details
Guaranteed hours: 36 hours/week (3 x 12s)

Requirements
- IL license required at time of submittal; pending licenses not accepted
- Required certifications: ACLS, BLS/BCLS, NIHSS
- Minimum: 1 year med-surg / cardiac / telemetry experience
- Clinical skills: Telemetry monitoring, med-surg/step-down care, IV medication administration (including antiarrhythmics/heparin), BiPAP management

Roles & Responsibilities
- Monitor and assess patient conditions in med-surg and telemetry settings.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to facilitate patient care.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families.
- Respond to emergency situations according to established protocols.

Compliance / Notes
- Orientation: 24 hours
- RTO restrictions: Max 7 days RTO per 13-week contract; no RTO allowed first week; no new RTO after submission
- Scrub color: Navy
- Free parking available
