Job Opportunity: Registered Occupational TherapistWe are seeking a licensed Registered Occupational Therapist (OTR) to work in Winchester, IN at Pine Knoll.Requirements for a Registered Occupational Therapist:Be a graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy collegeDisplay evidence of interest in continued education within the profession and is encouraged to be a member of the American Occupational Therapy Organization (AOTA)Must be licensed in the State of Indiana to practice OTMay be responsible for supervising/training personnel such as COTACPR Certified or willing to obtain certificationPrevious experience in home health or in a health care setting is recommended but not requiredResponsibilities for a Registered Occupational Therapist:Follow receipt of a doctor's referral, the therapist is responsible for evaluating the patient within 24 hours of written referralRecommend programs will be patient specific to diagnosis according to the type/age of patient under programAfter evaluating the patient, the therapist is responsible for planning, administering and supervising the COTA in an appropriate treatment planWill communicate with the referring physician and member of the rehabilitation team regarding the patient's total treatment program.Will maintain an accurate daily record of treatments given to patientsPRN.* Must be fully vaccinated against Covid-19, or have a Medical or Religious Exemption to be employed by Indiana Fitness Works. *FULL TIME employees may be eligible for benefits.
