Position: Tax Supervisor
Location: Dayton, OH (Hybrid remote in Moraine, OH 45439)
Job Type: Full time Permanent with Direct client
Responsibilities:
- Prepare complex returns and review individual and business tax returns.
- Manage project deadlines and plan appropriately with all staff.
- Maintain frequent contact with client and handle day-to-day client relationship issues.
- Adhere to budgetary and time constraints.
- Supervise, develop, train, and mentor staff on tax projects and assess performance for engagement and reviews.
- Maintain knowledge on the changes in tax laws/regulations and industry trends.
- Actively pursue professional development activities.
- Set individual goals that support departmental and firm goals.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting or related field required.
- CPA certification required
- 3 – 5+ years of experience in public accounting.
- Willingness to work extended hours during busy seasons.
- Proficiency in research tools (RIA, CCH, etc.) and ProSystem fx Software preferred.
- Experience working with clients from diverse industries.
- Tax preparation and review skills are a plus. Benefits:
