About the Role
The Company is seeking a Head of Technology Risk, Governance, and Controls to lead the strategy and oversight of first-line risk across the broader technology organization. This role is pivotal in ensuring the integrity of the company's systems by managing internal controls, owning and completing various compliance and audit requirements, and maintaining a strong risk posture. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving risk initiatives that align with the enterprise technology and transformation strategy, as well as operationalizing the enterprise risk framework within the technology domain. Key responsibilities include leading risk assessments, establishing and tracking KPIs and KRIs, and fostering a culture of risk awareness and continuous improvement. The role also involves owning the management of technology risk from third parties and critical dependencies, and designing and operating the technology control environment. Applicants for the Head of Technology Risk, Governance, and Controls position at the company should have a minimum of 15 years' experience in technology risk management and internal controls implementation, with a strong background in stakeholder management and global operations. The role requires deep familiarity with technology risk and control frameworks, as well as an understanding of emerging technology risk domains such as AI/ML, cloud, and data privacy. The ideal candidate will have a successful track record in a regulated environment, experience with GRC platforms, and relevant professional certifications. A Master's degree in a related discipline is preferred. The Head will be expected to work closely with senior stakeholders to integrate risk management into various aspects of the business and to ensure the company's technology operations are in line with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
