Associate Director - Quality Management (LSM)

Job Description BD is a global medical technology company committed to advancing health worldwide. This position focuses on leading quality initiatives for the Laboratory Specimen Management (LSM) Platform. Responsibilities Build and maintain an influential network and communication with leadership to identify, evaluate, and implement quality improvement opportunities. Directly or indirectly manage New Product Development and Sustaining Quality Engineers supporting the LSM Platform. Apply strong technical capabilities to evaluate and resolve complex design issues, design changes, and new product development projects. Develop strategies to address complex quality and business issues. Continuously evaluate progress toward objectives, adapting them to meet customer and business needs. Lead change initiatives and establish global stakeholder engagement focused on win‑win solutions. Contribute significantly to local and/or global strategies. Manage key stakeholder relationships that support broader strategic objectives impacted by business/function goals. Prioritize quality and compliance‑mindful solutions for customer‑impacting issues. Maintain positive and collaborative communication with all levels of employees, customers, contractors, vendors, and instrument partners. Act as a thought leader with subject‑matter expert knowledge of global regulations. Support continuous refinement of long‑term strategies to meet evolving regulations and create a competitive advantage. Accomplish tasks through highly experienced professional specialists. Engage with or lead global quality networks and business units to align organizational goals with the company’s mission and vision. Mentor and develop personnel, including succession planning and contingency management. Travel up to 25%. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in science, engineering, or a related discipline.
