Local Delivery Driver - CDL A

PBNA $30.30 / hour Overview Position delivers products to stores on an established route or via dynamic dispatch to customers, including convenience and gas stores, small supermarkets, drug stores, and others, with an average of 15-20 stops per day. The role involves driving a delivery vehicle to a location, unloading, bringing products into the store, rotating and stocking products on shelves, displays, vending equipment, and in coolers, building displays, setting up promotional materials, generating invoices, and daily settlement of cash and charges, and frequently interacting with store management. This position is labor intensive, requiring lifting, loading and pushing/pulling a high volume of cases per day ranging from 20–45 pounds per case, reaching, squatting, bending, and working in varied weather conditions. At times, especially during peak seasons, this position requires long work hours. Primary Accountabilities Deliver products, serve customers, and execute all promotions to multiple stores each day Operate trucks requiring an appropriate CDL license (basic functions such as driving forwards, backwards, and maneuvering in tight spaces) Service all scheduled customers by the end of the daily shift Merchandise and rotate all accounts to local standards (filling shelves, building displays, making products attractive, rotating products, cleaning shelves, refilling out of stocks, removing out‑of‑date products, returning shells) Push and pull pallet jacks, hand trucks and breakdowns to move products to and from truck Establish positive working relationships with primary contact at each account Comply with operating procedures (scan‑in/scan‑out, following designated route) Serve customers (communication, rapport building, attentiveness to customer needs) Follow DOT regulations Maintain regular, reliable, predictable attendance Basic Qualifications Note: In all California locations except Stockton, both non‑excepted intrastate and non‑excepted interstate status are accepted for this position. In Stockton, CA, only non‑excepted interstate status is accepted. 21 years or older Pass the required drug test and physical capabilities test (if applicable) Valid U.S. CDL with non‑excepted interstate status (if applicable) Pass DOT physical and DOT Road Test Follow DOT regulations Helpful Experience Operating trucks requiring a Valid U.S. CDL license (driving functions and back‑into dock spaces) Delivering products directly to stores (order‑entry, sale/distribution directly to store, working as part of an account team) Merchandising products (filling shelves, building displays, rotating product, cleaning shelves, replacing out‑of‑stocks, removing out‑of‑date products) Operating handheld computers (inputting data, entering transactions, printing) Operating equipment such as pallet jacks, hand trucks, breakdowns Working in a warehouse environment (product storage, staging, forklifts) Candidate Screening and Background Check Because the material job duties involve regular field work, including visiting customer locations and interfacing with employees, vendors, and customers, the Company will conduct a review of criminal history in accordance with applicable laws to ensure safety.
