Description

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients in both inpatient/outpatient settings and tailor treatment plans to individual needs
• Implement targeted physical therapy interventions that enhance mobility, strength, balance, and overall function
• Collaborate seamlessly with nurses, physicians, and other rehabilitation professionals to attain optimal outcomes
• Educate patients and their families on rehabilitation goals and therapeutic exercises for effective home care
• Document evaluations, interventions, and patient progress diligently, adhering to facility guidelines
• Engage in interdisciplinary team meetings to ensure unified planning and coordinated patient care

Education

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or a recognized equivalent from a reputable program

Certifications

• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist
• Preferred: CPR certification
• Additional specialized certifications (e.g., orthopedic, pediatric) are advantageous but not mandatory

Skills

• Prior experience in a clinical setting is strongly desired
