Full-Time Dentist (Full-Time or Part-Time)Reports to: Chief of Dentistry, Queens131-72 40th Road, Queens, New York, 11354, United StatesResponsibilities:Diagnose, treat and maintain the oral cavity of both the hard and soft tissues and their related structure by usual customary dental practicesDiagnose and render high quality dental careConduct in-service training programs in oral health for the ancillary staff of the Dental Department, and for other Health Center staffTeach Oral Health Education, including preventive care and nutrition to patientsMaintain all dental records as prescribed by Dental Policy and Procedures ManualAssist in teaching dental staff specific dental procedures outlined in the Department's Procedures ManualAssist in oral health education activities at community agenciesShare on-call duties as assignedParticipate in Peer ReviewAbility to work a full-time schedule, including one weekend day per week, or a part-time schedule of at least two days per week, including SaturdaysPerform other administration duties as assignedMinimum Qualifications:Degree from accredited Dental School (DDS or DMD)License to practice dentistry in New York StateEnrollment as a New York State Medicaid providerValid NPI numberCurrent BLS/CPR certificationMust be a general dentist with at least 1 year experience and high competency in clinical dentistryBilingual proficiency in English and Chinese requiredCommitment to and knowledge of community health careGood organizational skillsCompensation and Benefits:Full-Time Salary: $150,000.00 - 175,000.00 per yearMedical insuranceEmployer-paid dental, vision, disability and life insuranceEmployer-paid malpractice coverage through FTCA403(b) retirement savings planFlexible spending accounts for transit, parking, health and dependent carePaid time off (6 weeks) Continuing medical education time and allowanceEmployee Assistance ProgramEmployee Discount ProgramsNational Health Services Corps loan repayment program available, andThe Health Center is qualified for Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) program
