Job Details\n \n Position: Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) \n Employment Type: Travel Nursing \n Location: Glen Burnie, Maryland \n Schedule: 3x12-hour night shifts \n Shift Duration: 12 hours \n Hours Per Week: 36 \n Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend \n Contract Length: 12 weeks \n Start Date: 09/28/2026 \n Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,000 - $2,110 \n Setting: High-volume, fast-paced Emergency Department \n Patient Population: Neonates through geriatrics \n Job Requirements\n \n Active Maryland RN license or compact RN license at the time of submission \n 2 years of Emergency Department nursing experience required \n Strong community hospital Emergency Department experience required \n BLS, ACLS, and PALS required \n NIHSS certification required \n CPI certification required \n Comfortable with patient ratios of 1:4, with assignments up to 1:5 for lower acuity \n Epic experience preferred \n Ability to adapt to a busy, high-acuity ED environment and float within specialty as needed \n First-time travelers considered with strong Emergency Department experience \n Responsibilities\n \n Provide high-quality emergency nursing care to patients of all ages in a busy Emergency Department \n Perform triage, focused assessment, and rapid intervention for urgent and emergent conditions \n Monitor and manage patients with complex diagnoses in a fast-paced clinical setting \n Support care for observation patients within the ED hold/observation area as assigned \n Administer medications, initiate IVs, manage blood products, and support emergency treatments \n Assist with procedures including intubation support, chest tube management, and procedural sedation monitoring \n Collaborate with respiratory therapy, radiology, pharmacy, phlebotomy, and other interdisciplinary team members \n Maintain safe, compassionate, and efficient patient care while adapting to changing needs throughout the shift \n \n Apply now for this ER travel nurse job in Glen Burnie, Maryland, and join a dedicated Emergency Department team today.
