SRFC, Inc. is seeking an experienced, accountable Director to lead our Charlotte behavioral health and community-based services. This position is ideal for a hands-on leader who can support staff, strengthen program operations, and help individuals and families access quality services.

The Director will oversee assigned programs serving individuals with behavioral health needs and intellectual and developmental disabilities. Responsibilities include staff leadership, service quality, compliance, program growth, and coordination with community partners.

What You Will Do

• Lead daily operations for assigned Charlotte programs, including Peer Support and applicable 1915(i) and Innovations Waiver services.
• Supervise and support Program Managers, Qualified Professionals, and other assigned staff.
• Maintain appropriate staffing, service coverage, and manageable caseloads.
• Monitor authorizations, reassessment deadlines, documentation, and Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) compliance.
• Ensure services align with applicable clinical coverage policies, payer requirements, agency procedures, and accreditation standards.
• Review program performance, address service gaps, and implement corrective actions.
• Respond promptly to incidents, member concerns, staff issues, and program risks.
• Build relationships with referral sources, care managers, health plans, and community partners.
• Support referrals, timely admissions, member retention, and responsible program growth.
• Provide leadership with clear updates on staffing, census, compliance, outcomes, and matters requiring executive attention.

Qualifications

• Licensed as a Behavioral Health Clinician Preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in human services, behavioral health, social work, psychology, or a related field; required.
• Experience managing behavioral health, IDD, or community-based service programs.
• Demonstrated experience supervising staff and holding teams accountable.
• Working knowledge of North Carolina Medicaid services, authorizations, person-centered planning, documentation, and quality requirements.
• Strong communication, organization, problem-solving, and follow-through skills.
• Ability to travel within the Charlotte service area as needed.

Preferred: Experience with Peer Support, 1915(i), Innovations Waiver services, electronic health records, and EVV systems.
