Required Skills:

• Current New York State RN licensure with active registration
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and ability to recertify without interruption
• Minimum of 1.5 years recent experience in an acute care hospital setting within the past 2 years
• Experience with hospitals of similar size or trauma centers; hospital of equal or greater size preferred
• Proficiency with Epic Electronic Medical Records highly desired
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to analyze and evaluate clinical data effectively
• Knowledge of utilization review processes and clinical documentation improvement
• No history of license or certification suspensions or investigations
• No prior professional liability claims or litigations

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience in case management, utilization review, or clinical documentation improvement roles
• Knowledge of healthcare policies, coding, and compliance standards
• Multilingual abilities

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Registered Nurse with Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• At least 2+ years of relevant acute care experience
• Prior experience with utilization review or CDI programs

Other Requirements:

• Must have legal authorization to work in the U.S.
• Ability to work the dayshift shifts (8 hours) in a hospital environment
• Successful completion of pre-employment health clearance, drug screening, and criminal background check
• No travel required, but all reimbursements applicable when involved
