Are you detail-oriented, highly organized, and passionate about supporting student success behind the scenes? OSUIT is seeking a Purchasing Specialist to play a vital role in keeping campus operations running efficiently through responsible procurement, vendor relations, and financial stewardship. In this position, you'll coordinate purchasing activities, prepare and route electronic requisitions, process invoices and vendor payments, manage purchase orders, monitor purchasing card compliance, and serve as a valuable resource to departments across campus. You'll also help train employees on purchasing procedures and ensure procurement activities align with institutional policies and best practices. An Associate's degree is required. Other combinations of education and experience may be considered. Accounting or procurement/purchasing experience is preferred. A background screen will be conducted.
