If you're passionate about your career and want to be part of a company that cares about its people, this is the job for you!About The RoleThe Material Handler can perform a variety of material handling functions, including but not limited to operating a forklift, scissor lift, Jib crane, bridge crane, and other material handling devices.Your ResponsibilitiesOperate various sizes and types of forkliftsOperate a bridge crane and jib craneClearly communicate and interact professionally with truck drivers and other delivery personnelDaily inspections of equipment, including appropriate daily documentationMust be able to appropriately rig a load for liftingMust be able to inspect riggingDetermine which process should be used for moving raw materials or finished product in any given situationOther duties as assigned/directed by supervisorWhat We're Looking ForHigh school diploma or equivalent preferred6 months to 1 year experience as a material handler in a manufacturing environmentForklift, crane, and other lifting devices certificationsDetail orientedSelf-motivatedMust be able to work in a team environmentAbility to frequent, reach, lift, sit, stand, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, push, pull, squat, bend, and balanceExcellent hand-eye coordinationExcellent spatial orientationWork safely and look out for the safety of the teamKeep a clean and hazard free workspaceIdentify any defective items and handle them accordinglyFollow JSA, work instructions, and use identified PPEUse reason to solve problemsAbility to lift up to 50lbsTakes pride in work product and ensure quality work is completed dailyPerforms other related duties as assignedWhy Join Eads?Great Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, STD/LTD, and Flexible Spending Account.
