days, nights, weekends and holidays requiredEarning Potential: Earn up to $100,000 or more annually operating trips for a wide variety of clients and destinations.As a DATTCO Motorcoach Driver, you may transport:College Athletic Teams – we are the contracted transportation provider for more than 15 colleges and universities throughout Southern New England.NCAA Championships – we are the leading provider of NCAA championship transportation services in New England.Tour Groups – serve local, national, and international tour operators traveling throughout North America.Corporate, Charter, Wedding and Specialty Event Transportation – Enjoy a variety of unique transportation assignments year round with weddings, reunions, or sports events.Why Drive with DATTCO?Stable, year round work with one of the industry's most respected transportation companies.Modern, well maintained fleet with new vehicles added regularly.Dedicated 24/7/365 dispatch and operational support.Industry leading technology and driver resources.Nationwide support through our International Motorcoach Group (IMG) partnerships.Professional vehicle cleaning services.Company provided uniforms.Diverse assignments and travel opportunities.Family oriented culture with a reputation for safety and excellence.What We Offer (based on FT or PT status):Competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits package.Medical, dental, and life insurance options.401(k) plan with company match.Paid time off and company paid holidays.Employee assistance program (EAP).Employee Referral Program.This position may be for you if:You enjoy being on the road and exploring new destinations.You take pride in providing outstanding customer service.You appreciate driving late model, professionally maintained equipment.You enjoy the independence of driving while having the support of an experienced operations team behind you.You are committed to safety, professionalism, and doing the job right.You want to build a career with a family owned company that has been a trusted transportation leader for more than 100 years.What You'll Do:As a DATTCO Motorcoach Driver, you'll do more than get passengers from Point A to Point B—you'll provide safe, reliable, and memorable travel experiences throughout North America.Travel to exciting destinations while transporting athletic teams, tour groups, corporate clients, and charter passengers.Safely operate a modern motorcoach on local, regional, and multi-day trips throughout the United States and Canada.Deliver exceptional customer service by creating a welcoming, professional experience for every passenger.Assist passengers with boarding, luggage handling, and trip related needs.Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure your coach is safe, clean, and road ready.Navigate a variety of routes, road conditions, and destinations while maintaining the highest safety standards.Communicate with Dispatch and Operations to ensure smooth, on time service.Provide required passenger safety briefings and respond professionally to unexpected situations or emergencies.Complete trip reports, vehicle inspections, and other required documentation accurately and on time.Help protect the customer experience by addressing passenger concerns and reporting opportunities for service improvements.Maintain the appearance and professionalism of your vehicle, including fueling and basic operational checks.Represent DATTCO's commitment to safety, reliability, and outstanding customer service on every trip.Requirements:CDL Class B with Passenger (P) and (F) Endorsement – Or ask about our Entry Level Driver Training Program to obtain your CDL or required endorsements through us.Must have Airbrake or willing to obtain it through our training program.Must have an acceptable driving record and meet DMV and DATTCO eligibility standards.Must meet DOT/FMCSA medical qualification standards, including the physical qualification standards in 49 CFR Part 391, and maintain a valid DOT medical certificate as required.Must successfully complete all required pre-employment screening, including state and national criminal background checks, motor vehicle record checks, pre-employment drug testing, and any other screenings required by law or DATTCO policy.Must participate in DOT/FMCSA and/or state-required random drug and alcohol testing programs as applicable to CDL drivers.Skills:Excellent customer service skills.Strong interpersonal and communication skills.Ability to work independently.Physical Demands:Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds occasionally.Ability to enter and exit the vehicle repeatedly and perform required vehicle inspections.Ability to bend, kneel, reach, climb stairs, and use vehicle safety equipment.Ability to assist passengers during boarding, exiting, and emergency evacuations.The physical requirements described above are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.
