As a Software Engineering Group Manager within PNC's C&IB Payments organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA or Dallas, TX.Role Overview:The Software Engineering Group Manager will lead a team within the C&IB Payments Technology organization, overseeing the design, development, and delivery of Java-based applications supporting enterprise payment platforms.Key Responsibilities:• Manage and develop a team of software engineers, including performance management and career development• Lead Agile delivery processes and ensure alignment with organizational standards• Oversee full software development lifecycle execution• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to align technical solutions with business objectives• Ensure adherence to architecture standards, security practices, and compliance requirements• Drive continuous improvement in engineering processes and delivery outcomesRequired Qualifications:• Extensive experience leading software engineering teams• Strong technical background in Java development and distributed systems• Experience with Agile methodologies• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skillsAdditional Information:• This position is primarily location-based and requires regular in-office presence.PNC is an in-office company that fosters a supportive culture where employees can thrive and achieve balance.
