Schedule: Shifts available - Day 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30) or Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30). The Registered Nurse in the Stepdown Unit will provide high‑quality patient care to individuals requiring close monitoring and treatment. This role may involve floating to other units, ensuring consistent care across similar patient populations. Responsibilities Monitor patients and evaluate their progress in the stepdown unit. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed. Document patient care activities accurately in the charting system. Coordinate with interdisciplinary team members to provide optimal patient care. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Minimum of 18 months of permanent or travel experience in a stepdown unit. Active Ohio RN license or compact state license required. Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS. Must complete ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate during orientation with acceptable scores.
