Work Now Staffing is looking to hire Landscapers for our Homer Glen client.
Pay: $18.00 per hour
Shift: 1st Shift - 7:00am - 5:00pm, Monday - Saturday
Job Description:
The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining outdoor spaces, ensuring lawns and landscapes are clean, healthy, and visually appealing. This role involves a variety of lawn care and landscaping duties, requiring attention to detail and the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform general lawn maintenance, including mowing, and edging lawns
- Operate string trimmers to maintain clean borders around sidewalks, fence and landscaping features
- Trim and shape bushes, shrubs, and hedges to maintain a neat appearance
- Install mulch in garden beds and landscaped areas
- Apply fertilizers to lawns and plants to promote healthy growth
- Remove debris such as leaves, branches, and clippings
- Maintain and safely operate landscaping equipment
Qualifications:
- Previous landscaping or lawn care experience preferred but not required
- Ability to operate lawn maintenance equipment (mowers, trimmers, etc.)
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Physical ability to lift, bend, stand, and perform manual labor for extended periods
- Reliable transportation and punctuality
