Position Overview Cardiologist – Independent Practice Physician (Ownership Model, Not Employed). Physicians own and operate their own practice entity while receiving non‑clinical business and operational support from MedCBO. This is an independent practice opportunity, not an employed physician role. Physician Responsibilities Provide cardiology care within the physician’s specialty scope. Develop professional relationships within the medical community. Coordinate payer credentialing alongside MedCBO support. Determine clinical services offered, manage clinical quality, and patient experience. Administrative Support Provided by MedCBO Practice formation coordination. Billing and collections management. Payer contract negotiation. Financial infrastructure and reporting. Operational workflows and staffing systems. Technology platform implementation. Requirements MD or DO with unrestricted license in good standing in the intended state of practice. Board Certified or Board Eligible in a relevant specialty. Eligible for hospital and/or facility privileges where applicable. Ability to obtain professional liability coverage at standard market rates. No current limitations, exclusions, or disciplinary restrictions that would prevent independent practice. Interest in independent practice model. Preferred Desire for practice ownership. Community‑based care interest. Leadership or program development interest. Location Multiple U.S. markets available (urban, suburban, and rural). Relocation and market selection are physician‑directed, subject to licensure.
