Doctor of Medicine | Family Practice Location: Portland, OR Employer: All Medical Personnel Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Contract Duration: 2 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Travel Veterans Disability Evaluations, NP, PA, MD, DO Specialties accepted General Practice Physician Family Practice Physician Internal Medicine Physician Family Nurse Practitioner Adult Nurse Practitioner Physician Assistant Schedule Travel events are typically 1 to 2 per month. Each event is typically 1 to 5 days long. Providers must be available Monday through Friday to support event scheduling. Position overview Veterans disability evaluation exams, one time only appointments Physical exams only, no treatment and no prescribing Procedures and assessments may include range of motion testing, PFT, EKG, stress testing, Doppler, diabetes screening, and musculoskeletal exams Must be comfortable with pap smears, rectal exams, and pelvic exams Average volume: 5 to 15 patients per day EMR: internally built and template driven Requirements Strong computer skills required Must be a competent typist and able to complete reports within 48 hours after exams Primary care experience required and must be comfortable working independently in a clinic setting DEA not required Must have a personal laptop for access to required applications and work product Must be able to travel, including meeting requirements to drive a rental car or personal vehicle Must live within 50 miles of a major airport License portability is accepted. You must reside in the state of the license you are using for the event.
