Compensation $18.00 hourly, eligible for monthly commissions on qualifying mattress sales per the agreed terms and conditions. Job Summary As a Sales Associate, you will generate sales on the retail floor, hit performance goals, and deliver an exceptional shopping experience for every Purple customer. Responsibilities Drive personal sales and meet key performance indicators Provide an exceptional selling experience to increase sales and KPIs Make strategic sales decisions aligned with Purple’s values Establish clear personal goals, take ownership of results, monitor progress, and track performance Work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays Exhibit selling behavior aligned with Purple’s sales strategy Continuously grow in selling skills, performance, and product knowledge Help foster a positive work environment Uphold Purple values and strategy, adhering to all retail and safety policies Provide excellent customer service with a solution‑oriented mindset Demonstrate strong product knowledge and company values through behavior Required Skills, Education, and Experience High school diploma or equivalent 1+ years of retail experience (strongly preferred) Comfortable learning and adapting to new technology Excellent interpersonal communication capabilities Customer‑service oriented attitude Ability to stay organized and manage time effectively Desire to improve selling behavior and problem solving Enthusiasm and a positive attitude Proven competencies in effective communication Ability to learn and communicate product knowledge to match customer needs Willingness to learn and tackle new challenges Physical Requirements Physical activities may include ascending or descending ladders, stairs, or ramps; moving in different positions; standing for prolonged periods; reaching or bending repeatedly; lifting up to 200 pounds via team lift or equipment; using power tools; moving between worksites while handling objects up to 50 pounds.
