Colorectal - General SurgeonDepartment: Colorectal Surgeon - Jackson Medical Group, JMGShift Details: 8:00A.M.-5:00P.M., M-F, (Call 7 days monthly)Position SummaryAs part of the continued expansion of the Jackson Health System, the Jackson Medical Group, a growing multi-specialty physician network of over 40 physicians who practice throughout Miami-Dade County at over 7 different specialty care centers seek to hire a Colorectal Surgeon to develop and build our specialty practice in the Miami-Dade County area. The Colorectal Surgeon will provide comprehensive surgical care for patients with benign and malignant colorectal conditions in addition to supporting General Surgery when needed.ResponsibilitiesDeliver high-quality surgical care for a full spectrum of colorectal diseases.Perform open, laparoscopic, and robotic-assisted colorectal procedures.Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including GI, oncology, radiology, and pathology.Participate in call coverage and inpatient/outpatient care.Support quality improvement initiatives, evidence-based protocols, and program development.Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to all regulatory and compliance standards.Support General Surgery call/referralsMinimum QualificationsMD or DO degree from an accredited institution.Board Certified/Board Eligible in General Surgery.Completion of an ACGME-accredited Colorectal Surgery Fellowship.Eligible for Florida medical licensure.Demonstrated commitment to patient-centered care, safety, and clinical excellence.Preferred QualificationsExperience with robotic surgery (da Vinci platform).Bilingual (English/Spanish or English/Creole) is a plus given Miami's diverse population.Why JacksonCompetitive compensation and comprehensive benefits package.Public service loan forgiveness (PSLF)-eligible employer.Access to advanced surgical technology and robust clinical resources.The chance to make a meaningful impact in one of the most diverse communities in the country.Benefits:Competitive salary with a bonus structure tied to WRVU targets.
