ICU Registered Nurse (RN)

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated ICU Registered Nurse to join our team. This position offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, providing high-quality care to critically ill patients.

Unit Information

Number of Beds: 13
Number of Staff: 26
Patient Ratios: 1 Nurse to 2-3 Patients depending on acuity
Type of Equipment: Standard equipment typical for ICU
EMR: Meditech

Responsibilities

Maintain patient safety and comfort by monitoring vital signs and administering medication.
Document patient care activities in compliance with regulatory requirements.
Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
Perform critical procedures such as central line insertion and intubation as required.

Qualifications

Required Certifications: BLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory.
Preferred Skills: Experience with ICU procedures and teamwork.

Work Schedule

Must be available to work every other weekend.
On-call duties may be available but are not mandatory.

Dress Code

All staff are required to wear Galaxy Blue scrubs while on duty.

This position is located in the city of West Valley, AZ .
