Neurohospitalist Opportunity in Covington, LA Located 40m to New Orleans and 1hr to Baton Rouge Position Details - Full-time, permanent- 7/7 schedule, flexible- 281 bed hospital- 50+ member group- Shared Call and Rotation- Consult only serviceno primary patients- Dedicated Hospitalists and nocturnists cover nights- Tele stroke covers any stroke codes and tPA decisions.- Continuous EEG monitoring is available- E-ICU intensivist support with open ICUs at the community hospitals- EPIC medical record system with remote access capabilities- Dedicated RN and Social Work Clinical Care Coordinators- Community based academic appointment- Distinguished Hospital for Clinical Excellence award in 3 medical specialties- Leadership support focused on professional development, quality improvement, and academic committees & projects- Opportunities for leadership development, research, resident and medical student teaching Compensation: Fair market value according to MGMA + years of experience - Base plus up to 40K in incentives Company Overview - High performing, 5-Star health system in attractive community on north shore of Lake Pontchartrain across from New Orleans.
