Assembly Technician
Location: Cerritos
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:45 PM
Pay Rate: $21.50
Reports To: Plant Supervisor Position Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Assembly Technician to join our team. In this role, you will assemble manufactured products and ensure they are built and packed according to company specifications. This position requires strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced production environment. Key Responsibilities
- Assemble machinery, fabricated metal products, electrical equipment, appliances, and related items according to instructions
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documents to complete assemblies accurately
- Operate various machines and hand tools to perform assigned tasks
- Maintain logs, records, and reports related to production, maintenance, and product quality
- Perform basic equipment and conveyor maintenance and repairs
- Manage and monitor inventory of tools, parts, and supplies; coordinate with materials handler as needed
- Conduct periodic quality checks to ensure products meet company standards; troubleshoot and report issues
- Move units between production stages (Production ? PDI ? Mounting ? Staging)
- Mount units to trailers as required
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Ability to read and understand blueprints and schematics
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office or similar software for documentation
- Strong attention to detail and consistency in work quality
