Role Description The Director of Sales is a full-time, on-site role based in Sedona, AZ, responsible for driving revenue growth and positioning Ambiente - A Landscape Hotel as a premier luxury destination. This role oversees the development and execution of sales strategies, manages key accounts, and nurtures relationships with travel partners, corporate clients, and group/event business. Daily activities include building and maintaining sales pipelines, preparing forecasts and reports, and collaborating with marketing to create targeted campaigns that align with brand standards. The Director of Sales will work closely with operations, revenue management, and reservations to optimize occupancy, rate, and guest mix while ensuring a seamless and elevated guest experience. The role also involves representing the hotel at industry events, conducting site visits, and actively seeking new business opportunities that support long-term growth. Qualifications Strong Sales and Business Development skills, with a proven ability to generate, negotiate, and close revenue-producing opportunities. Experience in Sales Operations, including pipeline management, forecasting, reporting, and use of CRM and hotel sales systems. Demonstrated Customer Service focus, with a track record of building lasting client relationships and supporting an exceptional guest experience. Effective Team Management abilities, including coaching, performance management, and cross-functional collaboration. Previous experience in luxury hospitality or high-end travel, preferably in boutique or resort environments. Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills, with attention to detail and comfort presenting to stakeholders. Ability to work on-site in Sedona, AZ, with flexibility for travel for sales activities, and occasional evenings and weekends. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Hospitality Management, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
