This vital role combines clinical expertise with leadership skills to ensure exceptional patient care, compliance with healthcare standards, and efficient unit management. As a WEEKEND SUPERVISOR , you will oversee daily nursing activities, supervise staff, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to promote a safe, compassionate, and effective care environment. Responsibilities: Lead and supervise nursing staff, ensuring high-quality patient care aligned with clinical protocols and organizational policies. Oversee patient assessments, vital signs monitoring, and medical documentation to maintain accurate health records in electronic health record (EHR)- PCC. Coordinate interdisciplinary team efforts for discharge planning, medication administration, and other nursing duties. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and infection control standards to protect patient confidentiality and safety. Conduct regular audits of medical records, laboratory results, and diagnostic evaluations to support quality assurance initiatives. Collaborate with physicians and specialists to optimize patient outcomes. Requirements: Valid Florida LPN or RN license in good standing; additional certifications active. Proven experience in acute care, hospital settings, or long-term care environments such as nursing homes or assisted living facilities. Demonstrated leadership skills with experience supervising healthcare teams and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. Excellent communication skills for patient assessments, team coordination, and family interactions.
