Wayfinding Strategist

Responsibilities As a Wayfinding Strategist, you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary design team to develop user experience, wayfinding methodology, and masterplans, program sign locations and messages, and oversee fabrication of regional projects. You will inspire trust and confidence with teammates and clients, manage multiple tasks, and contribute to internal planning sessions, design critiques, client reviews, and stakeholder interfaces. You will demonstrate studio/team leadership. What You Will Accomplish Collaborate on developing user experience, wayfinding methodology and wayfinding masterplans. Develop wayfinding methodology and programming to coordinate with design. Iterate studies to evaluate design with the functional needs of the system. Assist with visualizations that effectively communicate the project concepts. Participate in internal planning sessions and design critiques. Participate in client reviews and work sessions. Collaborate and interface with project stakeholders and partners. Demonstrate studio/team leadership. Preferred Qualifications Minimum 3 years experience in planning, design, marketing, or related field. Provide and review work samples which speak to experience. Ability to read architectural construction documents. Understanding of branding/brand development, communications, and research. Collaborate with the Studio project team to create wayfinding and signage plans and message schedules for owner review and endorsement. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Totally client- and team-oriented, knows how to balance demands for time and resources. Strong communication and relationship management skills. Organized and detail-oriented, able to manage multiple projects and deadlines. Comfortable in internal and external client facing situations. Experienced with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator) and Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook). Working knowledge of CAD and Revit/BIM360. Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline. Required Qualifications Associate degree in a closely related field or combination of education and relevant experience. A minimum of 3 years related experience.
