Step into a valued role supporting students as a School Psychologist for a respected educational community near Mission Viejo, CA. This part-time contract opportunity focuses on enhancing student wellbeing through expert assessment and advocacy, particularly for bilingual populations. The assignment will be onsite, working across multiple schools in the San Juan Capistrano area from now through early June 2027. Schedules are flexible, requiring availability for 2-3 days per week.

Key Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in School Psychology or closely related field
• Valid PPS (Pupil Personnel Services) certification
• Professional experience working within K-12 school settings
• Proficiency in bilingual assessments; bilingual Spanish/English strongly preferred
• Excellent communication and collaborative skills with students, families, and school staff
• Organized and adaptable, comfortable with travel between sites

Core Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational and bilingual assessments to identify learning, emotional, and behavioral needs
• Deliver counseling and intervention services for students individually and in groups
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary educational teams to develop IEPs and intervention strategies
• Engage with families, supporting their understanding of assessment results and recommended actions
• Maintain compliance with documentation standards and state guidelines
• Provide consultative support to staff regarding culturally responsive practices and interventions
