You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and deliver outstanding customer service. This role calls for clear communication, sound judgment, and integrity while working with a caring, reliable team in an agile, innovative environment. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $23.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeSat08:00 AM - 05:00 PMSun08:00 AM - 05:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to government facility staff, visitors, and members of the public while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities. Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas, reporting unusual conditions or hazards. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner and coordinate with appropriate emergency responders and/or site contacts. Monitor access to restricted areas, verify authorized entry, and maintain required activity logs, patrol documentation, and incident reports. Carry and maintain assigned equipment in accordance with applicable laws, licensing requirements, Allied Universal policies, and site-specific procedures. Minimum Requirements: At least one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience is required. Customer service experience is preferred. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
