The University of Florida, Department of Emergency Medicine, is seeking exceptional board-certified or board-eligible Emergency Medicine physicians to join our faculty as integral members of the department. The Department of Emergency Medicine at the University of Florida-Gainesville is an independent academic department within the College of Medicine. With the substantial infrastructure and resources from the State's Flagship University dedicated to the missions of research and education, we are committed to training medical students, residents, and fellows to become superior well-rounded clinicians that have the skills to become educators, researchers, and leaders in emergency medicine.

Successful candidates will join our growing department in a non-tenure-accruing position at the rank of Clinical Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor. You will become part of a group of more than 60 full-time EM faculty, 13 fellows, 42 residents, and over 200 department members supporting the expansion of clinical services in our community and across the state.

All physicians must be ABEM/ABOEM Board Certified or Board-Eligible. Candidates must be eligible for a medical staff appointment and clinical privileges under the UF Health Shands Hospital Medical Staff Bylaws.
