Certified Medical Assistant - Primary Care

We're Hiring: Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) Location: UCF Health Lake Nona Florida Employment Type: Full-Time Schedule: Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm No Weekends About Us At UCF Health Faculty Physician Practice, we are committed to providing the very best medical care to the Greater Orlando community and strengthening community ties with the UCF College of Medicine. We're looking for a Certified Medical Assistant to join our team and support our mission of improving lives through exceptional service. What You'll Do As a CMA, you'll be a vital part of our clinical team, responsible for both administrative and clinical tasks, including:
• Greeting and preparing patients for exams
• Taking vital signs and medical histories
• Collects and prepares laboratory specimens, Performs point-of-care testing in office
• Ensures proper forms are signed and dated, such as consent to treat, Advance Beneficiary Notice (ABN) forms, medical releases, and HIPAA forms
• Documented results communicated to the patient after physician has reviewed the results, updates medical records What We're Looking For
• Certification: Certified Medical Assistant; current
• Experience: 0 + years of relevant experience
• Skills: Excellent communication, organization, and multitasking abilities
• Tech-savvy: Familiarity with eCW systems and basic computer skills
• Attitude: Compassionate, dependable, and team-oriented What We Offer
