Injection Mold Technician

Our client, manufacturing is seeking a Injection Mold Technician to join their team. As a Injection Mold Technician, you will be part of the production team supporting daily injection molding operations. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills, a commitment to safety and quality, and the ability to work independently to keep machines running at optimum cycles while sustaining part quality. Location: American Fork, UT Pay Range: $20-$21 Shift: 1st Shift, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM What's the Job? Set up molding machine parameters to produce quality acceptable parts for production. Troubleshoot and perform process changes as needed on the injection molding machine. Perform mold changes quickly and efficiently as scheduled, including robot set up and programming. Ensure machines are running efficiently and producing parts within standard. Replace standard components within the mold such as inserts, springs, ejector pins, and fittings, and perform basic machine maintenance. What's Needed? 5-7 years of experience in a related injection molding or mold technician role. Technical certification or associate degree may be required in some areas. Proven ability to troubleshoot injection molding processes and make process changes to resolve issues. Experience performing mold changes and supporting robot set up and programming. Ability to train operators on running production parts, monitoring rates, and part quality. What's in it for me?
