SECURITY ANALYST II, IS&T Information Security

Security Analyst II – Information Security (IS&T) Category : Charles River Campus – Information Technology Job Location : Boston, MA, United States Position Type : Full-Time / Regular Salary Grade : 49 – $71,700.00 to $86,000.00 Upon successful completion of the first 90 days of service, you will become eligible to participate in the University's hybrid work program. Responsibilities Monitor, analyze, and process security events to identify and protect university assets. Help process results from vulnerability scans and assist in risk mitigation. Assist with maintaining and updating security procedures. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to identify and mitigate security risks. Participate in an on‑call duty cycle, providing 24/7 availability to respond to security events. Required Skills Demonstrated interest and at least 2 years of experience in the cyber security field. Familiarity with SIEM systems, vulnerability scanners, endpoint protection, firewalls, or similar tools. Knowledge of network protocols, operating systems, and security technologies. Familiarity with regulatory requirements such as HIPAA, PCI‑DSS, DMCA, and NIST. Soft Skills Experience using ServiceNow.
