Taylor Robinson Music invites private music instructors who share our philosophy of learning to play from the heart. We focus on making music lessons accessible and affordable. Taylor Robinson Music is currently seeking private music instructors, especially specializing in engineering/producing. While we do not have a brick‑and‑mortar studio in Wylie, TX, we have students needing teachers ASAP. Lessons may take place in the student’s home, in your own home or studio, or via webcam. Most students prefer in‑person lessons, so we need local instructors willing to travel within the Wylie area. You will be compensated on an independent contractor basis at $20–$30 per hour, depending on travel time, experience/education, and student retention. You have full control over your schedule, curriculum, and lesson plans. Taylor Robinson Music handles advertising, marketing, SEO, and billing. Ideal candidates are experienced with young students, professionally organized, punctual, and maintain good communication with our office. While formal music training is not mandatory, a degree in music, enrollment in a music program, professional performing experience, or prior teaching experience is required. COVID‑19 Precautions: Wear a mask, sanitize hands, and practice social distancing when applicable. Responsibilities Conduct private music lessons in students’ homes, your own studio, or via webcam. Travel locally to students’ homes in the Wylie, TX area as needed. Set your own schedule, curriculum, and lesson plans. Maintain punctuality, organization, and effective communication with the office. Adhere to COVID‑19 precautions (mask, hand sanitizer, distancing). Qualifications Experience teaching music to children. Degree in music, enrollment in a music program, professional performing experience, or prior teaching experience.
