Location: hybrid Tues-Wed in Cary, NC

Pay: $25-30/hour

Duration: 6 Month Contract on a W2 with a likely extension

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm

Start Date: ASAP

Team: AP/ Travel and Expenses Team

Responsibilities:

• Audit expense reports for policy compliance, accurate coding, and proper documentation
• Assist with managing corporate card program: card issuance/cancellation
• Perform monthly corporate card reconciliations against GL and statements
• Process employee reimbursement payments and resolve payment discrepancies
• Flag and escalate policy violations or unusual spending patterns
• Respond to employee inquiries on expense policy, card usage, and reimbursement status
• Process high-volume vendor invoices accurately and on time using the Coupa procurement platform
• Enter and maintain invoice data in the AP system with accuracy and attention to detail
• Perform monthly supplier statement reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
• Communicate with vendors and internal team to address invoice disputes, missing POs, and payment inquiries
• Maintain organized records of invoices, approvals, and payment documentation in accordance with T&E company policy
• Support internal and external audit requests by providing documentation as needed
• Identify and escalate duplicate invoices, billing errors, or policy exceptions

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of accounts payable with a focus on expense administration preferred.
• Experience with expense management systems (e.g., Concur, Coupa, etc)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Familiarity with multiple ERP systems experience
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage a high volume of transactions accurately
• Strong communication skills for working with vendors and cross-functional teams
• Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related field preferred but not required
