We are a Griffon Corporation company with a long heritage across our brands. We currently have an opening for a Maintenance Planner in our Troy, Ohio location. The Maintenance Planner will support the continued development of the Computer Maintenance Management System (CMMS). As data is collected and organized, the analyst will identify critical equipment, improve the CMMS program, and define preventive and predictive maintenance tasks. The role also includes maintaining stock inventories, creating job kits for projects, setting up new equipment for parts inventories, and developing maintenance tasks for that equipment. This position is a key member of the risk analysis team and reports to the Maintenance Manager. Responsibilities Gather and develop equipment lists using a numbering scheme Develop a master data list for each piece of equipment, including manuals, drawings, lockout/tagout information, P&IDs, and related documentation Set up master data in the CMMS to provide charts and trends Develop equipment criticality using risk analysis Set up preventive maintenance (PMs) and predictive maintenance (PDMs) in the CMMS Develop long-term preventive maintenance strategies to increase plant availability and uptime Contribute to the development of site maintenance and reliability KPIs Prioritize work by using equipment criticality Maintain spare parts inventory using the CMMS Requirements Bachelor’s degree in science or equivalent relevant experience Proficient computer skills Maintenance management qualifications or desire to gain Technical knowledge of plant equipment Ability to work with a cross-functional team Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability and desire to work with a computer terminal, owning and maintaining the master data set for the CMMS Flexible and able to work in fast-paced and varying environments Our Team We don’t just manufacture doors; we engineer the "front door" of the American dream and the security of global commerce.
