PHYSICIAN - Emergency Medicine - Duluth, MN

Licensure/Certification Qualifications: BC/BE Emergency Medicine Practice Specifics We are a regional Emergency Medicine team based in Duluth, MN, serving an urban hub and six regional EDs. You will work roughly half of your shifts in Duluth, and half at rural sites, with flexible scheduling. Practice includes adult and pediatric emergency medicine; full spectrum of care includes PICU, neonatal, neuro, STEMI, behavioral health, and telemedicine support. Shifts are 8‑9 hours, with double/triple coverage and APP support. Annual ED volume: 42,000 patients/year at Duluth (40‑bed ED) and 3,500–12,000 patients/year at regional sites. All regional sites are level IV trauma and admit to their own hospitals; more complex cases are transferred to Duluth. Receive telemedicine support for stroke, psychiatry, NICU, hospice, and cardiology. Teach residents and medical students as desired. Requirements Board‑certified or board‑eligible Emergency Medicine. Excellent teamwork skills, working well with ED staff, consultants, and patients. Strong commitment to serving both urban and regional patient populations. Compensation $246.51 per hour, with potential for bonuses, quality incentives, and production‑based compensation.
