Labcorp seeks a phlebotomist for a patient service center in Bayonne, NJ. The role involves collecting blood specimens, processing patient information, and delivering customer service across rotating weekday and Saturday shifts.
Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections for diverse patient populations
- Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, and alcohol testing
- Enter patient data accurately and maintain specimen information logs
- Process billing information and collect payments from patients
- Prepare specimens for testing and provide superior customer service
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Phlebotomy certification or completed accredited training program
- Minimum three months phlebotomy experience or current certification
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to pass standardized color blindness test
- Reliable transportation and flexibility for overtime
Compensation: $17.75-$24 per hour
