Job Qualifications

To be considered for the Restaurant General Manager position in North Mesa, AZ , candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; additional education in hospitality or business management is a plus
• Minimum of 2 years of successful restaurant management experience , with a demonstrated track record of leading teams to success
• Proven ability to recruit, hire, train, and develop high-performing restaurant teams
• Strong financial acumen, including experience with budgeting, P&L management, and cost controls
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead pre-shift meetings and foster open dialogue
• Experience with strategic planning, process improvement, and quality management
• Ability to make independent, sound decisions with confidence and professionalism
• Commitment to upholding food safety standards and company policies at all times
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required in a restaurant environment
• Physical ability to stand, walk, lift up to 25 pounds, and perform all duties required of a working manager

Job Responsibilities

As the Opening Restaurant General Manager in North Mesa, AZ , you will be the driving force behind every aspect of the new restaurant's launch and ongoing operations, including:

• Build the team from the ground up — recruit, interview, select, hire, and train all front- and back-of-house team members ahead of opening
• Establish and maintain a positive, high-energy workplace culture aligned with the company's vision and values
• Oversee all daily restaurant operations, ensuring consistent execution of food quality, service standards, and guest satisfaction
• Lead and motivate your management team and staff through hands-on, positive leadership
• Set and manage team member schedules, performance expectations, and accountability structures
• Develop and execute strategic financial plans , including budgeting, cost management, and revenue goals
• Monitor and enforce food handling procedures, recipes, and health and safety standards at all times
• Conduct regular pre-shift meetings and one-on-one check-ins to keep communication open and team morale high
• Manage vendor relationships, procurement processes, and operational policies in coordination with the Operations Director and corporate staff
• Handle team member relations, including performance reviews, coaching, disciplinary actions, and terminations when necessary
• Represent the brand within the North Mesa, AZ community by embracing local engagement and ethical business practices
• Report directly to the Director of Operations and collaborate with Human Resources to align on company goals and workforce strategies
