Market Development Manager
$105k - $142.5kConstellation Brands seeks a Market Development Manager to accelerate growth in our Beverage & Food Operations within the Sales & Business Development team. In this role, you will own a regional market, developing and executing data-driven strategies to expand distribution, maximize brand visibility, and deepen customer relationships across on- and off-premise channels. You will analyze market and consumer insights, build joint business plans with distributors and key accounts, and lead local execution of brand and trade programs. Working in our innovative, inclusive, and dynamic culture, you will collaborate cross-functionally to pilot new go-to-market approaches, optimize pricing and promotion, and deliver sustainable, profitable growth for our beer, wine, and spirits portfolio.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute regional market development strategies for beverage and food channels to drive volume and share growth.
- Expand distribution, visibility, and activation of Constellation Brands' portfolio across on- and off-premise accounts.
- Analyze market, consumer, and customer data to identify growth opportunities and optimize channel and account plans.
- Build and manage relationships with key distributors, retailers, and foodservice partners to deliver joint business plans.
- Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Revenue Management to align pricing, promotion, and brand activation plans.
- Track performance against KPIs, prepare sales forecasts and reports, and recommend course corrections.
- Lead local execution of national brand programs, trade promotions, and merchandising standards.
- Monitor competitive activity and provide insight-based recommendations to protect and grow market position.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to test innovative go-to-market and shopper engagement programs.
- Support training, tools, and best practices that elevate market development capabilities across the team.
