Job Title: Med Surg RN Profession: Nursing Specialty: Acute Surgical Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM (Varies) Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Fast-paced unit experience preferred License: Active Registered Nurse license required Certifications: BLS certification required Must-Have: - Fast-paced unit experience - Ability to manage multiple patient discharges and admissions Description: This is a very fast-paced unit. The team discharges 8-15 patients daily and admits approximately the same number. Patients may be admitted from various sources including the emergency department and direct admits. An admission, discharge, transfer nurse is available to assist with patient flow.
