RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: PCU

Duration: 6 weeks Shift: All shifts available Hours per Shift: 48 guaranteed Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: RN License required Certifications: BLS Must-Have: Cardiac Cath experience Ability to work all shift times Description: This position requires rapid response capability. Candidates must be able to start within 7-10 days to receive the rapid response rate. Travelers must have experience in Cardiac Cath. Candidates will work day, night, and mid shifts as needed. Orientation is held weekly on Mondays. All candidates must complete necessary screenings prior to start. The facility is known for clinical excellence and specialized services. It offers a wide range of specialties including Trauma Care, Behavioral Health, and Critical Care. Patient ratios on the unit are 1:5 for RN and depending on staffing, may vary for other roles. Equipment utilized includes various monitoring systems and electronic health records. The patient population primarily consists of cardiac patients, including those post-operative and in critical care. Candidates must have a positive attitude and the ability to work within a team. Dress code requires professional scrubs with no hoodies or excessive piercings. This position is for a new or expanded service line.
