Adult Cardiac Sonographer

PRN Position in Adult Echocardiography Laboratory

Functions as a member of the Adult Echocardiography Laboratory and performs high quality echocardiograms in the Adult Echo Lab and on the in-patient service as requested.

Ensures that all studies are entered into the database appropriately.

Takes call as requested.

Responsible for care of all equipment related to adult echo services, including TEE equipment.

Qualifications

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:

• Completion of an accredited echocardiography, ultrasound or cardiopulmonary technology program (AS equivalent).
• Obtain registration within one year of hire.

Licensure/Certification/Registration:

CCI Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS)

Or

ARDMS Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS)

Motor Vehicle Operator Designation: Employees in this position: Will not operate vehicles for an assigned business purpose
