Pulmonology Physician

As our Clinic Pulmonologist, you will join a collaborative team dedicated to delivering high-value, top-quality pulmonary care to the communities we serve in Durango, Colorado, and throughout the surrounding Four Corners region. As part of a physician-facing organization, you will be supported by extensive resources designed to allow you to focus on what matters most-caring for patients and serving the community. You will provide comprehensive outpatient pulmonary care while contributing to the delivery of the highest quality and most cost-effective healthcare within our integrated delivery system. Through your work, you will help expand access to specialized respiratory care and improve the health and well-being of individuals throughout Southwest Colorado.

Every day you will evaluate, diagnose, and manage a broad range of pulmonary conditions in a clinic-based setting, including asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), interstitial lung disease, pulmonary nodules, sleep-related breathing disorders, and other complex respiratory conditions. You will utilize pulmonary function testing, diagnostic imaging, and other appropriate diagnostic services to develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans. You will collaborate closely with primary care providers, hospitalists, advanced practice providers, respiratory therapists, and multidisciplinary specialists to deliver coordinated, patient-centered care. As a key member of the pulmonary care team, you will help strengthen outpatient services, build lasting relationships with referring providers, and expand access to high-quality pulmonary care throughout Durango and the surrounding rural communities.

To be successful in this role, you will be a skilled, board-certified, and compassionate Pulmonologist committed to providing exceptional, evidence-based respiratory care.

Required

• Doctorate Degree in Medicine (MD or DO)
• Current and unrestricted Physician License to practice in applicable state
• Must have successfully completed a residency and / or fellowship commensurate with area of specialty
• Obtain and maintain an unrestricted Drug Enforcement Agency ( DEA ) registration
• Be board certified or eligible in the appropriate specialty, by a board acceptable to hospital
• Obtain medical staff privileges within the health system, at sponsoring institution
• Medium Work exert/lift up to 50 lbs. force occasionally, and/or up to 20 lbs. frequently, and/or up to 10 lbs. constantly
