Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 8-hour shifts (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy services in assigned setting — inpatient (general inpatient, rehab, or sub-acute) or outpatient (orthopedics, sports medicine, neurology, pediatrics, or lymphedema program) based on placement need
• Treat a diverse patient population including orthopedic, neurological, bariatric, cardiac, surgical, ICU, spinal cord injury, stroke, and brain injury cases; sub-acute setting includes vented and long-term patients
• Document patient care and progress using Cerner EMR
• Participate in weekend coverage, rotating either every Saturday or every Sunday
• Participate in holiday coverage integrated with permanent staff rotation (typically one major and one minor holiday)
• Complete facility orientation consisting of 3 orientation shifts prior to independent practice

Required Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapist (PT) license — must be valid and in good standing
• BLS certification required
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience as a Physical Therapist
• Proficiency or ability to quickly adapt to Cerner EMR
• Ability to work weekends and holidays as scheduled

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in both inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation settings
• Familiarity with complex patient populations including spinal cord injuries, stroke, brain injuries, and vented/sub-acute patients
• Experience in orthopedics, sports medicine, neurology, or pediatrics for outpatient placement consideration
• Experience with lymphedema treatment programs
