Bartender

Town Tavern Copley, a bar and pub at 125 Montrose W Ave in Copley, OH, is hiring a Bartender to craft cocktails and keep the bar clean. The role pays a base wage of $5.50/hr plus tips, about $20–$30/hr with tips (estimate), and is open full-time or part-time with flexible scheduling.

What you'll do:

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including craft cocktails
• Greet guests and provide friendly, attentive service at the bar
• Take food and beverage orders accurately
• Demonstrate menu and drink knowledge and make recommendations to guests
• Process payments and handle cash/credit transactions
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar, including a weekly deep-clean
• Follow all alcohol service and food safety guidelines

What you'll need:

• Previous serving or bartending experience preferred but not required
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
• Ability to stand, walk, lift, and carry items throughout a shift
• Must meet Ohio requirements for serving alcohol
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of common bar drinks, liquors, beer, and wine
• POS system familiarity

Schedule: Town Tavern Copley is open Mon–Fri 11am–2:30am and Sat–Sun 9am–2:30am. Full-time and part-time positions available with flexible scheduling.

For employees covered by the Ohio minimum wage of $11.00/hr (2026), base pay plus tips must meet that minimum for all hours worked; the employer must make up any shortfall.
