Patient Care Coordinator

Pride Health is hiring a Patient Care Coordinator to support our client's healthcare facility in South Easton, MA. Job Details: Schedule: 8:30 AM - 5 PM Location: South Easton, MA Float / Coverage Area: Job Type: Local contract Contract Length: 3 months (with possible extension) Pay Range: $22.00 to $24.00/hour *Pay offered is based on experience, expertise, credentialing, and education.

Duties:

• Greet patients warmly and professionally as the first point of contact.
• Check patients in and out for appointments and assist with front-desk needs.
• Schedule appointments and make confirmation calls for upcoming visits.
• Answer phones and respond to patient questions or direct inquiries appropriately.
• Monitor the fax machine and process incoming patient referrals and refill requests.
• Enter, update, and maintain accurate patient information in the EMR/EHR system.
• Provide general administrative support while maintaining professionalism, confidentiality, and excellent customer service.

Requirements:

• Years of experience: 12 years of experience in a medical office, healthcare, medical secretary, medical receptionist, or similar administrative role preferred.

• Skills/Specialties/Technology:
• Strong computer skills required.
• Experience with EMR/EHR systems preferred; Epic experience is a plus but not required.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Professional, friendly, and approachable demeanor.
• Ability to manage patient check-in and check-out.
• Ability to handle appointment confirmations, referrals, and refill requests.
• Ability to monitor and manage fax communications.
