Job Summary:
The MRI Technologist position is located in Louisville, Kentucky. The role involves providing specialized MRI imaging services within a healthcare facility. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. This position requires a minimum of one year of acute inpatient care experience, and experience with patients including neuro, spine, stroke, and head trauma cases.

Job Details:

• Location: Louisville, Kentucky
• Schedule: Evenings shifts, 8 hours per shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid BLS certification; ARRT (MR) or AMRIT certification; Kentucky license (unless grandfathered in); at least 1 year of acute inpatient care experience; experience with neuro, spine, stroke, and head trauma patients; experience with Cerner electronic medical record system is preferred
• Additional Qualifications: Experience working with heavy neuro patients, including neurotrauma cases; excellent patient care skills; positive attitude; ability to work solo depending on shift; support from radiologist 24/7; familiarity with Siemens Vida 3T and GE Signa HDxt 1.5T MRI equipment; no floating required; two weeks of departmental orientation; weekend rotations based on unit needs; no on-call requirements; approval of RTO by NM; scrubs in Ceil Blue; free badge access parking lot
• Additional Information: The unit handles approximately 40 patients per day, averaging 6-7 patients per technician per day; candidates may support student athletes; depending on the shift, MRI Technologists may work solo.
