Role Description The Restaurant Manager is a full‑time, on‑site role based in Clarksville, TN, responsible for overseeing daily restaurant operations and ensuring a safe, welcoming environment for guests and associates. This role manages front‑and‑back‑of‑house activities, including scheduling, shift leadership, inventory control, and cash handling. The Restaurant Manager trains, coaches, and supports team members to deliver consistent service, maintain quality food standards, and follow all company policies and health regulations. The role also monitors sales and costs, addresses operational issues in real time, and works to improve performance, guest satisfaction, and team engagement. The Restaurant Manager collaborates with area leadership to implement company initiatives and uphold Waffle House’s values and customer‑focused culture. Qualifications Strong customer service and customer satisfaction skills, with a focus on delivering a positive dining experience on every shift. Proven communication abilities for leading teams, resolving issues, and interacting professionally with guests and associates. Experience in hiring, onboarding, and developing team members in a fast‑paced environment. Knowledge of food & beverage operations, including food safety, quality standards, and basic kitchen procedures. Previous restaurant or retail leadership experience preferred; high school diploma or equivalent required, additional education in hospitality or business is a plus. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and varied shifts, and to stand for extended periods.
