Job Description

Job Summary:
Provide high-quality computed tomography (CT) imaging services in a hospital setting, ensuring patient safety and comfort while maintaining clinical accuracy. This role involves working in a fast-paced environment with a focus on precision and adherence to protocols.

Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic CT scans with or without contrast based on physician orders.
• Operate GE equipment and ensure proper calibration and maintenance.
• Adhere to patient identification and safety procedures throughout imaging procedures.
• Document all procedures accurately in the Meditech and Centricity PACS systems.
• Collaborate with medical staff to ensure optimal patient care and image quality.
• Follow facility policies regarding scheduling, on-call duties, and floating responsibilities.

Qualifications:

• Current ARRT certification and valid CT Registry credentials.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience performing CT and X-ray imaging.
• Ability to operate GE CT equipment proficiently.
• Strong knowledge of protocols for contrast and non-contrast imaging.
• Excellent communication and patient care skills.
• Ability to work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays.
